Counseling Services

"Education is the most powerful weapon which   you can use to change the world". Nelson Mandela
Individual Counseling

Counselors may meet with students individually, at the request of teachers, administrators, parents, or through students' self-requests. Individual sessions are scheduled throughout the school day, depending on the child's schedule and severity of need. Students may want to meet with the counselor regarding friendship concerns, new situations, difficult decisions, family concerns, happy occasions, loss/grief, managing feelings and conflicts, or academic success.

Small Groups

Small groups are offered based on the immediate needs and concerns of students. Groups are developed through consultation and collaboration with teachers and families. Students are engaged in developmentally appropriate activities with peers, in efforts to support one another in a positive atmosphere.

Classroom Core Curriculum

We offer classes to all grade levels to teach, practice, and engage students with social skills. Lessons are developmentally appropriate and interactive. We also collaborate with teachers for enrichment in the classroom setting.
